Announcing Adaptive Testing!

Everything DiSC products now use Adaptive TestingAs of July 21, 2012 all of the Everything DiSC series of products have switched over to a new, adaptive testing (AT) methodology for the DiSC assessment. As part of this change, the scoring algorithm has also been updated to a new, more accurate version.

The result? The most accurate DiSC assessment to date, or in the terminology of the circumplex model: The most accurate dot placement yet!

Simply put, adaptive testing chooses the next question in the assessment based on each respondent's previous answer or answers. Previously, each person taking the assessment would answer the exact same questions, much like a paper-based DiSC instrument.

At this time, nothing else changes. Aside from the more accurate dot placement, the profiles will look and read exactly the same. If you are a training practitioner presently conducting training sessions with any of the Everything DiSC profiles, you needn't alter anything you are doing today.

We'll be talking more about Adaptive Testing in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
