Many organizations have embraced the transformative potential of DiSC training and certification is one way to get up to speed. While not a requirement to facilitate Everything DiSC in your organization, certification signifies a proven level of capability and expertise.
For an in-house trainer, these courses provide in-depth knowledge which helps to inspire confidence. For some, this makes DiSC facilitator certification worth the investment.
The engaging self-directed online work and impactful virtual sessions prepare the facilitator for the Everything DiSC certification exam which, when passed, results in the awarding of the Certified Everything DiSC Practitioner credential.
Now A SHRM Recertification Provider!
Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors now offer SHRM credential holders the opportunity to earn professional development credits (PDCs) from the Society for Human Resource Management.
- SHRM credential holders earn 20 PDCs* upon completion of the Everything DiSC Certification.
Participants not only receive the credential and expertise needed to deliver Everything DiSC workshops, but also gain the skills needed to foster an engaged, collaborative culture, knowledgeable in the language of DiSC.
Everything DiSC Certification FAQs
Yes. Everything DiSC Certification requires access to the Everything DiSC Catalyst Facilitation Kit. If your company has already licensed the kit (or an upgradable Workplace, Management or Agile EQ kit), then you don’t necessarily need to buy another one, but you will need access to the kit in order to complete the course.
This is because the credential being earned is that of “Certified Practitioner”. As part of the course, you will learn not only about the DiSC model and theory, you will also learn how to use the Catalyst in a training environment.
If you already have an existing EPIC Account with another provider, we recommend purchasing certification from them as well. If you’re not happy with your current provider or can’t remember where you purchased your kit, please contact us. We’ll verify your kit’s serial number and get you signed up!
The Everything DiSC Certified Practitioner credential never expires. And if you have a previous Everything DiSC Certified Workplace Facilitator or Certified Management Facilitator credential, they never expire either!
Yes! You can earn 20 Professional Development Credits upon earning the credential of Everything DiSC Certified Practitioner.
PDCs can also be earned by completing the self-guided, online Everything DiSC Essentials course or Five Behaviors Accreditation.
The newly updated DISC Certification course (launched in late April 2022) is no longer application-specific. The program covers the core elements of Everything DiSC, use of the Catalyst platform and an overview of the other available applications. Learn more about Everything DiSC Certification.
There is, however, a separate program for The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. The credential, “Accredited Facilitator” is available through the Five Behaviors Accreditation program.
The date shown for each Certification class is the date the online platform becomes available. The weekdays shown (“Mondays & Wednesdays”) are the days of the week that have live sessions. For example, a course might open on a Friday with live sessions on the Tuesday and Thursday of the following two weeks.
This is done to allow time to complete the pre-work before the first live session.
