What Makes the Catalyst Practitioner Experience Different?
Prior to the Catalyst Practitioner Experience, facilitators were provided a set of infrequently-updated training materials in the form of “facilitation kits”. Having a turnkey curriculum was helpful and a timesaver, to be sure. But there was no official support for facilitators beyond some supplemental materials. With CPE, those same materials hold the promise of more frequent updates, but that isn’t the big news–it’s the new features.
New Feature #1: “Foundations” DiSC Training
“Foundations” is the name of a new training program for the DiSC model and DiSC concepts. This isn’t full certification, but for those that don’t choose to be certified (or certified practitioners that want a refresher), Foundations provides accessible learning for practitioners, new and experienced.
New Feature #2: The Practitioner Community
Have an idea for an activity, but aren’t sure it will work as you envision it? Ask your peers! With CPE’s new practitioner community, like-minded facilitators and administrators can ask questions, share insight, and learn from others doing the same work. Access to the community is part of the Catalyst Practitioner Experience.
New Feature #3: No-Cost Group Reports
With the Catalyst Practitioner Experience, anyone with an EPIC user login can create unlimited Group Culture and Group Facilitator Reports at no cost! This money-saver is available when creating reports via Catalyst Administration and saves 25 EPIC Credits per report. If you create these reports, CPE will pay for itself in no time and continue to save you money!
New Feature #4: Learner and Group Insights
This is really two new features! In EPIC, it’s impossible to see anyone’s style without generating a PDF report. Catalyst Admin lets you see styles and download extra Priorities, but CPE takes it even further. See the “What drives you” screen for any learner on Catalyst in just a couple of clicks. And for groups you create, you can now see essential group information, including where the group members fall on the 8 continua–all without leaving Catalyst Admin. This is a massive help for facilitators and administrators when preparing for a training session.
