Everything DiSC® Group Reports are one of the outstanding features of the Everything DiSC application suite. By definition, a group report consists of data from two or more respondents. These range from a one-on-one Comparison Report for two people to a Group Culture Report that can contain virtually any number of members. Some of the reports are generic and some are specific to an application, like the Work of Leaders Group and Facilitator Reports.
Here’s where the power is…
Everything DiSC Group reports are created by combining the data of existing reports–meaning no one in the report has to complete another assessment.
Most of the Everything DiSC Group reports can contain records from different applications (see sidebar). Suppose you have a department for which you want to create a Group Culture report. The head of the department has completed a Work of Leaders profile. The three outside sales reps took the Sales profile and seven other staff members took Workplace on Catalyst. No problem. All of these different records can be included in the report just as easily as if they had all completed the same assessment.

These group reports can be created using respondents that completed the same or different profiles:
- Group Culture Report
- Group Facilitator Report
- Team View Report
- Comparison Reports
These group reports require the respondents to have completed Work of Leaders:
- Work of Leaders Group Report
- Work of Leaders Facilitator Report
How Do I Create an Everything DiSC Group Report?
To create an Everything DiSC Group report, start as you would to create an assessment: Log into EPIC, go to the Manage Reports menu and select Create New Report / Issue Access Codes.
Choose the product family and the group report you want to create and click “Next”.
The following screen has two sections. In the “Report Details” section, choose the folder and subfolder where you want to store the report. You might consider creating a separate folder for Group Reports so that they don’t show up in future searches. Then enter a name for the report, which will be shown on the cover page of the report.
The second section is labeled “Participants” and it starts with just an “Add” button visible. When you click that button, you will be taken to the ubiquitous search screen where you can search for respondents to add to the report.
Once you’ve added everyone, click “Next” to create the report.
Doesn’t this Get Expensive?
Not really. Some Everything DiSC group reports are free; most cost 25 EPIC Credits. The cost is per report, so no matter how many people you add the cost is fixed. There is also some flexibility to re-generate the report at no cost when the team changes…
DiSC Group Report Money-saving Trick
It’s common for the composition of a group to change, so it would get expensive to generate a 25-credit report every time someone leaves or joins the team. Fortunately, there is a remedy for that!
You can make substantial edits to a record in EPIC up to two times. For the DiSC group reports, this means that you can make changes to the group members and generate a new report two times without using any more EPIC Credits. After that, you would have to start a new report, but it’s far better to get three for the price of one than to have to pay for a new report each time.
Our Recommendation
We highly recommend a Group Culture or a Group Facilitator report with the accompanying poster for any training session involving an intact group of people. In fact, we typically supply one of these reports in our own workshops when the learners are part of an intact team.
The information in the reports is helpful, but we’re really after the poster. The poster PDF shows the dot location of everyone in the group. Learners love guessing which dot belongs to which person and it’s easy to see at a glance where the team might be heavy or light on different DiSC styles.
Note that the Work of Leaders group reports do not include a poster.
